What’s in space? How do we know? What does a telescope do?

Make your own telescope (in groups of up to four)

What are PostcardsFromSpace? Explanation of the story idea and characters.

How do we find aliens? Explanation of the science of searching for life elsewhere. Read along with the story on the PostcardFromMars.

A look at some of the recent breakthroughs in Mars exploration.

Everybody will make a constellation finder. How do we use the constellation finder and what does it show us?

What are exoplanets? Why do scientists think they may be suitable for alien life? Which ones are likely to be best?

Participants come away with the telescope that their group has made and a pack of Postcards from Space with an rrp of £11.99
